Peat-reduced versus peat-free substrate for the cultivation of Ellwoodii

In collaboration with Delphy, we have set up a trial again this year. The main objective of this trial is to achieve uniform crop development of Ellwoodii under different conditions: a peat-reduced substrate and a peat-free substrate with a comparable moisture buffer.

This trial provides a unique opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of peat substitutes and assess their impact on crop development. We are closely monitoring the growth results and diligently collecting data on the health, growth, and quality of the plants in both substrates.

During the product presentation on September 29, 2023, we will share our findings with colleagues, stakeholders, and interested parties. We hope that this trial will provide new insights and contribute to the further development of sustainable cultivation methods that are less reliant on peat.
