Fuchsia in 50% peat-free compost

Kwekerij Mark Verbeek has been growing high-quality fuchsias and green plants for 21 years, which are available all year round. Nowadays he does this with substrate that contains less peat.

“My customers asked me to work with a substrate that contains less peat. Together with BOL specialist in substraten, we have made a good mix and now we use a 50% peat-free substrate. On this way I help the environment and on the other hand, I keep my customers satisfied. The results with the 50% peat-free mix is very positive,” says Mark Verbeek, owner of Handelskwekerij Mark Verbeek.
