Bram van Paassen joins the management team.
Due to the company's growth, the management team of the substrate specialist in Hoek van Holland has been strengthened with the addition of Bram van Paassen, effective from July 1st, 2022. "You can notice that as the organization grows, more things need to be arranged differently. Because we always want to do everything right, it takes a lot of time, and that's why we need reinforcement," says Mark Bol, owner of BOL.
Bram van Paassen (31) was born and raised in De Lier. As the son of a horticulturist, he has been involved in the horticulture industry from a young age. After completing his studies, he worked for 7 years at Martin Stolze B.V., where he left as the commercial director. At BOL, Bram will be responsible for sales and finance. Together with Mark, he will focus on the organization and the company's vision. Mark will shift his focus more towards production and the innovation of raw materials, which is currently an important aspect due to the goals regarding peat reduction in substrates.
"I look forward to being part of the business and taking the company towards new goals with Mark and the other colleagues," says Bram van Paassen. "The first 2 months have been very positive, and I see many opportunities that I am eager to explore."
